I’ve watched several of Paul’s videos on YouTube. I’ve recommended the site to several people I know who have wanted to get some IT experience. Thank you so much for what you all are going here. Repeatable hands on experience really is the only way to learn something well. And a sandbox lets you break things without impacting the client!

Now that I’m finally getting around to using the main site I’m all the more happy I’ve recommended it. I’ve done enough on the job to say I’ve done it, but never enough to feel like I know it well. I’ve been mostly self taught so confidence in a “best configuration” has always been an issue for me.

I’ve love a course on Firewall configuration: especially best practices. Even just using PfSense would be useful.

Anyway, I’m a completionist 100%ing or GTFO am I right lol… how can I get some of the text “lessons” to validate completion? 😃

There is some sort of weird formatting, the next lessons materials are shown on the previous one. For example on this building your own it lab course, on the welcome to the course page the next lessons material is shown

Hi profile avatar luis rivera

To use the lab online you just need to open the lab under each section after the lessons. In simple words, those are there after watching the lessons. There is nothing to set up from your end.

If you decide to build your home lab using VirtualBox as described in this section you will need enough hardware resources and download, install, and run the operating systems.
